Let’s Go Shopping!

One of the subjects I’m going to focus on this year for BFD is shopping. Does that fill you with joy? Dread? Both?!

Even though an estimated 67% of women wear plus-sizes, very few stores seem to want our money. I’m going to dig into that, make a little noise, and see if we can get people in power to pay attention. I’m pretty sure making money is the bottom line, right?

So, to get started, let’s talk about where you’re currently buying your clothes. If you don’t see your go-tos listed here, please share them in the comments. Thanks, y’all!

Marshall’s, T.J. Maxx, Saver’s and other thrift stores. If I buy something new for a special occasion, it would be from a place like Modcloth or Eshakti online.

    Amazon, eshakti and Kohl’s.

  • It’s a blur, sir.

My clothing is overwhelmingly from eShakti. I also occasionally shop at Old Navy, Kohls, and Target.

    • I still have to try eShakti. I’ve heard so many good things about it!

  • amesville

Lane Bryant and I haaaaaaaaate it. I’m all belly and boobs, and it is one of the few places that has clothes that don’t make me feel preggo. But their clothes are so OBVIOUSLY Lane Bryant that it doesn’t make me want to wear them.

    • They ARE so obviously LB, that’s a great way to put it. Thanks for your comment!
